Specialization Guide

The specialization system here does not operate the same as others out there, but that doesn't mean you should be afraid of it or hate it on the spot. It becomes more simple for you as you experience it. The specialization system basically outlines your skill level in different areas. A gauge of how good you are in certain situations. Read through the guide below to get a better understanding of how this system works.

Specializations

  • Hand to Hand - This field is a character's level of skill in unarmed combat. For example, martial arts.
  • Marksmanship - This field is a character's level of skill in ranged combat. For example, guns and bows. This specialization can be taught by an NPC or by another member if they are, at least, Rank C.
  • Weaponry - This field is a character's level of skill in armed combat. For example, fighting with swords or staves. This specialization can be taught by an NPC or by another member if they are, at least, Rank C.
  • Devil Fruit - This field is a character's level of skill when using the Devil Fruit they have ingested. Not everyone will have this marked.

Rank Chart

  • Rank D - The character is average in their level of skill.

  • Rank C - The character is above average in their level of skill.

  • Rank B - The character is skilled and a more formidable face.

  • Rank A - The character is an expert capable of turning things in their favor rather quickly.

  • Rank S - The character is masterful with their skills and considered to be very powerful.

Specialization Training

Training of the specializations does not cost any Beli, but it takes a lot of word count. There are no tiers, so members will only have to train from rank to rank. The chart below depicts the ranks, and the word count required to rise through the ranks. Please note that Rank D is not your starting point. Everyone starts at E. The reason being, characters do not start out with any skills in certain areas. They are like children starting out in the world. To be able to do something, it must be learned.

Rank E to Rank D - 1000 word count

Rank D to Rank C - 2000 word count

Rank C to Rank B - 3000 word count

Rank B to Rank A - 4000 word count

Rank A to Rank S - 5000 word count

Again, there are no Beli costs. Members only need to fulfill the word count requirements for the specializations they are training, as well as get them approved by staff as soon as the training has been completed. Training can be done anywhere and must relate to the specializations.
